I recently went to a Barbizon Modeling and Acting Audition. However, they said that if I was selected I would have to pay 2,100 for acting and modeling classes. Is this normal? If not, are there any reputable companies that do not require me to go a modeling school? Please name some if so.

I’m considering being an actor. I realized that alot of movie stars began their careers by auditioning for small commercials, extra work, voice acting, and modelling. To become an actor, must you spend thousands of dollars on acting schools?
